One word to describe LSi:  Dedicated

Fun Fact:  This job was a “temporary gig” for me so I could obtain my Master’s Degree. Twenty-Five years later, I’m still here because I love the job and the people I work with.

In 1996, I graduated from Mercyhurst with a Psychology & Criminal Justice Degree with a focus on Juveniles.  I pursued my degree all while working as a therapist for juvenile delinquents. Soon after earning my undergrad degree, I began my Master’s at Gannon University.  I worked as a therapist for juvenile delinquents for a number of years, but the swing-shift hours weren’t conducive while trying to earn my Master’s. I came to Loesel-Schaaf so I could focus more on school, not realizing this would become my career. The funny thing is, I ended up taking a break from my studies to get married and one thing led to another.  We started a family, and then, in the end, I never looked back.

One thing I appreciate about my job at LSi is that every day is different and poses different challenges.  I am responsible for the accounting, payroll and financial aspects of the agency.  Also, I am responsible for any agency contracting, licensing, document management, as well as, our agency management system usage.

Outside the office, I am the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Erie Contemporary Ballet Theatre. I love being with my family and our many pets. I married my high school sweetheart over 20 years ago and we have two wonderful daughters.  We have many pets, too!  From our dog, to the cats, salt water fish, turtles, hamsters, guinea hens, AND bees!  In my free time, I enjoy doing crafts, reading by the pool and binge-watching shows.
