I have studied/worked in the medical field since 2012. I went from 5yrs of clinical work (ER technician, phlebotomist, EKG tech, Surgeon Assistance in the urology area) to what I currently do at Loesel-Schaaf which is investigating problems for our clients and serving as a liaison between our client, the provider, and insurance carrier.
Before joining the team here with Loesel-Schaaf, I started my clerical claims background with a large insurance carrier, as a Claims Examiner in 2016, worked my way to a Team Lead position from what started as a team of 4 to a department of 40 within 1.5yrs. My role here at Loesel-Schaaf is like no other I have had before (in a great way). Every case is different; from easy to complex. What I enjoy most is helping people understand their health benefit plans and educating when needed.
I love the environment here at Loesel-Schaaf; as it is extremely calm and family orientated. Each day serves a purpose and it feels great to do it with a team like ours!
I am a current Penn State Behrend student obtaining my bachelor’s degree in Psychology of Science. I have a 12yr daughter and a soon to be newborn son… Let’s talk about starting over! Outside of work & school I LOVE spending time with my amazing family. I enjoy learning new things, reading, spending time in nature (especially grounding), candle shopping, and meditating when the time and noise cancellation allow it! Besides all that… I am a real-life HOMEBODY!
