I am a Principal and Treasurer at the Agency, which allows me to be a part of all aspects of our operations. I was drawn to the Agency’s historical success and excellent reputation and I enjoy contributing to the continuation of both of those aspects. I truly enjoy coming into the office every day because the team we have is second to none!
We are constantly assessing our client’s exposures because we know things are always evolving regardless of their industry or personal situation. Internally, we keep each other up-to-date on industry trends, which helps us make coverage recommendations to both our clients and prospects. I am also always on the lookout for new business opportunities for each of our departments. We’re selective on who we work with which is, in my opinion, a large reason behind the Agency’s nearly 100 years of being in business.
Before my work in the insurance arena, I attended the University of Dayton and graduated with a degree in Entrepreneurship. I worked on the corporate / carrier side of insurance before joining Loesel-Schaaf and am much more comfortable on the agency side of things. I love the industry and what we do for people and businesses through evaluating their risks and being there for them when they are most in need.
My wife, Kelly, and I spend all of our time with our son, Phillip, who was born August 2021. When the opportunity arises to get out of the house, we enjoy eating at any of the many locally owned restaurants around Erie, finding any sort of live music, traveling or sneaking in a round of golf!
