Fun Fact: I have a large model train layout.
After High School I worked two years as a welder on railroad cars and two years as an underground coal miner. I then attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania and received a BS in Safety Sciences. My first job out of college I worked six years as a System Safety Engineer for General Electric in defense contracting. I then moved back into manufacturing and worked for Werner Ladder Company as a Safety Director for 9 years. I then entered the insurance industry and worked for EBI Companies which was a Monoline Workers’ Compensation Company and then 23 years with Cincinnati Insurance Companies as a Loss Control Consultant.
As a Risk Control Advisor I strive to assist our clients in reducing workplace hazards in order to minimize financial risk associated with potential claims. I enjoy working with clients and their employees to solve problems and develop systems to reduce their risks.
Outside of work I like to workout, I do spinning classes twice a week. My wife and I enjoy making homemade ice cream and pizza. We like to travel to visit our son in Boston and daughter in the Los Angeles area.
