One word to describe LSi:  Family

Fun Fact:  I’ve got a crazy fear of snakes caused by Sammy the Snake from Sesame Street.

After graduating from West Virginia University in 1995 with a degree in Finance, I started working at LSi in our Employee Benefits Department. Let’s be honest, what little boy doesn’t dream of growing up and working in the insurance industry? I thought for sure my career at LSi would be short lived. Just long enough to get “experience” for my resume so that I could move on to bigger and better things. A funny thing happened though. After a few months, I realized I really enjoyed what I was doing.

Fast forward 26 years, I am now President of LSi and have a strong appreciation for the great team we’ve developed over the years. I love working with our employees. We understand the mission and strive to achieve it. Outside of my Presidential duties, I like to think of myself as an architect of an employer’s health plan. By understanding what that employer is looking to achieve, I can create a customized health plan that increases benefits while providing long-term, measurable savings.

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family. My wife and two daughters are amazing. Aside from that, I absolutely love physical activities. I competed in triathlons for about 15 years. Cycling is my favorite activity. Nothing better than an early morning hammerfest with my cycling peeps.
