One word to describe LSi:  Home

Fun Fact:  I’m a hat freak.

Prior to arriving at LSi, I worked at various medical practices in Erie ranging from family practice, general surgery and gastroenterology.  I worked in areas, such as, appointment scheduling, medical transcription, scheduling diagnostic tests and procedures and insurance verification and billing.

Utilizing my insurance knowledge background, my role at LSi is to investigate problems for our clients like claim submission errors, incorrect processing, and billing discrepancies.  This includes determining the best course of action and acting as a communication liaison between provider offices, billing services and insurance carriers to ensure the best possible outcome for the situation.  Depending on the scenario, it can be very simple, or extremely complex!

I love that while my job is the same every day, each case presents its own unique challenges.  No matter what the situation, I truly enjoy and take personal satisfaction in helping people navigate the frustrating complexities of their insurance benefits.  I’m also very proud to work at a company that supports and encourages me to do whatever it takes to provide exceptional customer service to our clients.

When not working, my main focus is spending time with my family, which includes the cat sanctuary I’ve somehow set-up in my home over the last few years.  Speaking of cats, I am a huge advocate for all our local animal rescue shelters.  They do such amazing and tireless work that has led me to become a board member for the Orphan Angels Cat Sanctuary and Adoption Center.  It is truly my belief, we are all here to look after and take care of each other.  Additionally, I love gardening, dining out at local restaurant destinations, live music venues, movies, traveling, and just enjoying Erie with all the wonderful things it has to offer.
